Losing 40 Pounds in 1 Month! - The Plan

So one of the items on my Pre-Pregnancy Bucket List is to lose 40 lbs. For me this is absolutely a daunting task. I love all things dairy, sweet, and indulgent. An old co-worker used to joke that I even love my sushi, "deep fried and smothered in cheese." LOL. Truth.

But today is the day I chose to begin that journey hardcore. Turn Down for Whaaatt??  One motivation is a friend's wedding in less than a month, and another is the 6 lbs I have gained since the Puerto Rican rainforest put me on crutches - the wrath of El Yunque!

 Oh and did I mention I will be losing these 40 lbs during the next 30 days? Yeah about that. All you naysayers that do not believe it's possible, I have used this detox diet to jumpstart my initial 20 lb weight loss. Yes, I lost 20 lbs in 1 month and did not exercise at all! Not one sit up, lunge, or crunch.

The diet is simply called the Quick and Effective Weight Loss Program. A doctor in the greater Atlanta area created it to help some of her clients get back on the road to health. Basically, you are eating fruits, vegetables, and meat. What I like most about it is that I'm never hungry and if I am, I can eat!! What I absolutely hate about this plan is that I cannot eat what I want, it's all planned. The first week is the roughest because my body is going through carb withdrawal. This time around I am definitely going to get moving and add some exercise.
